2.5. Notwithstanding the above, to continually assess the frequency of persons to this website and/or App with view to improvement of this website and/or App, Pretire reserves the right to collect information on the number of visits to the website, pages viewed and other general data.
2.6. As permitted by ECTA, Pretire may use Personal Information collected to compile profiles for statistical purposes. No Personal Information contained in the profiles or statistics will be able to be linked to any specific user.
3.1. Pretire shall take reasonable precautions to protect the Candidate’s Personal Information from unauthorized use and disclosure.
3.2. Pretire shall take reasonable technical, administrative and physical measures to protect Personal Information contained in Pretire’s database against misuse, loss or alteration. Keep in mind however, that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while Pretire strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect the Candidates’ Personal Information, Pretire cannot guarantee its absolute security.
3.3. Accordingly, Pretire provides no guarantees that the website will be free of observance by third parties, viruses or any other contaminating or destructive properties and the Candidate and/or Client hereby accepts sole risk and responsibility in respect of the use of this website and/or App.
3.4. Pretire cannot enforce or control the security of the computers, electronic devices, or electronic communication method that a Candidate and/or Client may utilize to send e-mails and submit Personal Information to Pretire and/or one another over the internet.
3.5. The Candidate and/or Client is responsible for ensuring that the computers, electronic devices and electronic communication methods that they utilize will provide adequate security for communicating with Pretire and/or one another.
3.6. Pretire may not be held liable for unauthorised access or distribution of a Candidate’s or a Client’s password. It is the Candidate’s and/or Client’s responsibility to choose secure passwords and to keep them safe. Pretire cannot be held responsible for personal data that is compromised due to an insecure or stolen or breached Candidate and/or Client password. If you are authenticating with Pretire via a third party (e.g. Google Apps), those passwords must also be secured at your own risk.
In the event that a Candidate and/or Client at any time wants to terminate its contractual relationship with Pretire, thereby preventing any future Introductions (“Unsubscribe”), the Candidate and/or Client may Unsubscribe by emailing an email of your intention to Unsubscribe to email@example.com and Pretire shall remove and delete such Personal Information from its website and/or App.
In the event that a Candidate has submitted his/her CV to Pretire, disclosing certain Personal Information to Pretire, and the Candidate wishes to update or amend such Personal Information, the Candidate may email the updated and/or amended CV to firstname.lastname@example.org. and Pretire shall update the Candidate’s Personal Information.
6.1. Pretire acknowledges that once a Candidate Unsubscribes the record of the Candidate’s Personal Information is no longer necessary for achieving the purpose for which the Personal Information was initially collected and or subsequently Processed.
6.2. Accordingly, Pretire shall forthwith destroy and/or delete any record of that Candidate’s Personal Information.
Any and all intellectual property, howsoever constituted, in respect of this website and/or App is the sole and exclusive property of Pretire and the Client and/or Candidate irrevocably and unconditionally undertakes in favour of Pretire that they shall not, under any circumstances whatsoever, challenger or dispute Pretire’s right to such intellectual property.
9.1. This website may contain links to other websites. Pretire is not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites and Candidates and/or Clients are obliged to inform themselves of the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these other websites.
Pretire automatically collects information from your browser or device when you visit this website and/or App or whilst your device is in background mode. This information could include your IP address, device ID and type, your browser type and language, the operating system used by your device, access times, your mobile device’s geographic location while Pretire’s website and/or App is actively running and the referring website address.
If you are making use of Pretire’s App, Pretire uses mobile device IDs (the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer), or Advertising IDs (for iOS 6 and later), instead of cookies, to recognize you. Pretire does this to store your preferences and track your use of Pretire’s App. Unlike cookies, device IDs cannot be deleted, but Advertising IDs can be reset in “Settings” on your iPhone.
The Candidate hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consents to Pretire providing all the Candidate’s Personal Information to its successor in title for the purpose of carrying on the business of Pretire.
